About 5 miles downstream from Adam Springs and on the south side of Big Canyon road, a small one-room school was built in 1913. The Arthur Copsey family had moved to the area in 1912 and Arthur had a school district formed and erected the school which operated for 4 or 5 years.
Miss Biggerstaff was the first teacher. Other teachers included Florence Badger, Ada Stipp & Gertrude Copsey.
